Once upon a time, I knew what I wanted and went ahead to get it, I stood up for what I believed was right without having second thoughts...  bottom line? I was very confident.

Conductor, you don pay tithe?

Conductor, you don pay tithe? asked a policeman to the conductor of a vehicle I entered.

The first sentence that came to my head  was "Holy Christ, how can the word 'tithe' with its Biblical meaning be used by a policeman as a synonym to the word 'bribe' or 'egunje'?"

I decided to watch as events unfold and I saw the conductor giving the policeman an amount of money, after that, the driver continued driving.

Wide-eyed and open-mouthed, I said to myself "OMG! these policemen have really stepped-up their game. It's no longer 20 bucks but now 100 bucks!!"

Blogging moi!

I've been giving the idea of blogging serious thoughts for sometime now. I read lots of blogs: some very striking and some "not so" striking, blogs for entertainment, education... and the list goes on.

Then, I decided... what the heck?... let's go blogging!... and voila, decision made, one obstacle eliminated, google account created, blog registered, all other protocols duly observed.

What next? my hand freezes, my head is empty, my brain disappoints me... i have no idea of what to blog about. I decide to take a break, clear my head and think.

... 1 hour, still thinking
... 2 hours, thinking still
... 3 hours, nothing significant forth coming
... 4 hours, frustration gradually setting in
